Core Opioid Treatment Metrics

Founded in 1948, The Pew Charitable Trusts uses data to address the challenges of a changing world. In 2021, Pew convened an expert panel to develop the Core Opioid Use Disorder Treatment Measures (also known as Core Opioid Treatment Metrics) that all states could use to assess treatment effectiveness. The following links provide more information on how Pew developed these measures and the Implementation Tooltip.


These metrics were provided through a collaboration between The Alabama Department of Mental Health and Alabama Medicaid. The data presented was accurate when posted.
